Hiroshi Doi,Doi, founder of Gendai Reiki Hô,Hô, states that Mikao Usui ‘came to recognize that the purpose of life is to attain a state of anshin ritsumei. It means to learn a fact that man given a role to play is being sustained by the universe, and to fulfill one’s role with a calm mind by trusting the universe and leaving all to the universe no matter what happens in the course of life.’
Hyakuten Inamoto,Inamoto, founder of Komyo Reiki Kai, states that anshin ritsumei means, ‘to stay clam and peaceful without any attachment or expectation after having surrendered to the divine will’ or simply put, ‘absolute inner peace’.
