First Aid and the system of ReikiThis is a featured page

In the mid-1920s Mikao Usui taught hands-on healing to a group of naval officers. The intention was that while at sea they would be able to work energetically on themselves and others, especially in first aid situations. This group were the founding members of a society that still exists in Japan today called the Usui Reiki Ryôhô Gakkai.
To use Reiki as a form of first aid immediately place the hands on or near the area of need.
Myths have abounded that Reiki should not initially be used on broken bones as it would too quickly set the bone.Overtime this myth and others have proved themselves to be merely superstitions. If Reiki could heal a bone as quickly and consistently as this myth suggests then surely Reiki would be indispensable in all hospitals.
