Five Head Positions - Reiki Head PositionsThis is a featured page

A number of hand positions on the head are included in the Reiki Ryôhô Hikkei and Chûjirô Hayashi’s Ryôhô Shishin.
Five similar head positions below are claimed by Suzuki san to have been taught by Mikao Usui.
They are:
zentô bu — forehead
sokutô bu — both temples
kôtô bu — back of your head and forehead
enzui bu — either side of neck
tôchô bu — crown on top of head
Toshihiro Eguchi, a well-known hands-on healer and friend of Mikao Usui, used a similar set of hand positions in his manuals and added one last position at the stomach. Following is a translation of his five head positions taken from his joint publication with Kôshi Mitsui. The positions are:
haegiwa — hairline
komekami — temples (you can do both sides with both hands at once) kôtôbu no takai tokoro — rear of head, high up
kubisuji — nape of neck
atama no chôjô — top of head (crown)
ichoo - stomach, intestines
