Hi All,

Reiki is non-dualistic in nature but still encompasses the two dualistic elements of positive and negative. Without these two dualistic elements how could we call it non-dualistic? Reiki (universal energy) can thus be used for good or bad things, this is why we need teachers to keep us on the right path.

As it is stated in this thread "With the universe all things are possible" this also means good and bad or positive and negative.

To aim for "satori" or enlightenment we all need a teacher to guide us on the path otherwise we might wander off the path and end up nowhere. Even the Dalai Lama still has teachers! It is the ego which creates the false belief that we do not need teachers.
