The concept of Oneness is linked to the HSZSN and Symbol 3 in Mikao Usui’s early teachings. When working with this concept one starts to realise the non-existence of ‘I’. When the ‘I’ disappears the notion of ‘others’ will disappear too. Once this occurs it is no longer possible to make the separation between ‘I’ and ‘others’, and there arises the desire to protect and help others as oneself.
