According to Toshitaka Mochizuki’s book, Chô Kantan Iyashi No Te, she was a musician and the wife of fellow Reiki practitioner Umataro Mine. In 1967 specific details about Mikao Usui’s students were written of in her book Kyujyu Nen No Ayumi. She was involved with teaching Reiki until the age of 103.
