Also known as Reiki Session. Reiki treatments come in all shapes and sizes. A treatment can be performed on the self or on others.
If working on others, the client lies or sits and the Reiki practitioner’s hands are placed on or just above the body. It is unnecessary for the client to remove one’s clothes and no private parts of the body should be touched. There is no place for sexual contact or inference within the system of Reiki. The practitioner channels energy through his/her body and the client draws what he or she requires at that point in time.
The treatment may take from about five minutes to an hour. Reiki treatments may also be used as a form of first aid.
