Seeing the Aura while doing Reiki

I am not able to see Auras usually. But while doing Reiki on someone many times I will see tendrils of white smoke or steam swirling up from the body and dissipating into the air. Sometimes its hundreds of them and sometimes its a few.

Is this the Aura that I'm seeing?

Dear Denise,

Our whole body is made of energy and sometimes we might get glimpses of this energy while we are doing hands on healing. Often people see it as smoke or steam.
The interesting part is that one element of the kanji of Ki means steam.
