Interesting question as I thought of posting this last week but didn't get around to it. I just had an unexpected root canal done two weeks ago. The doctor told me to take advil for at least two days for the pain and to expect discomfort. I did not take any medication.Whenever the mouth began to hurt I would do Reiki. This happened for 3-4 nights at around 6-8 pm. My body also began to feel like it does when I have flu like symptoms aches pains tightness in neck. I did Reiki for at least 20 minutes to 30 minutes every night when it hit. Mostly on the face but I let the hands go elsewhere intuitively to energy blocked areas for as long as the hands wanted to stay there. Then no pain right after. These all left as well after the Reiki. I did do some Asanas Yoga postures when I felt I needed to help gross matter move energy. I even went out to the car to do Reiki on my face when my wife and I were picking a movie out at the movie store. I made it a priority while she picked out the movie. I sat in my front seat like I was leaning on my hand but not really on it and did it. I didn't do both hands in the car because people passing by would not know what it was and might become confused. Thanks for asking sasha74. Do you find this valuable? |

"I didn't do both hands in the car because people passing by would not know what it was and might become confused. Thanks for asking sasha74."LOL! This made me giggle. I find sneaky ways to give myself treatments at work - a few fingers resting on key facial pressure points for sinus headaches at my desk... a hand over the outer thigh trigger point if my back aches from sitting in a meeting too long... but perhaps we should not be hiding it, eh? :) 1 out of 1 found this valuable. :)(big smile) What is hiding, or not hiding when the other person(s) perceive what they perceive regardless of what I am doing, or not doing? Is there hiding even when we think we are hiding something or is hiding a name we give to something because it needs a word to describe it? Okay, too many words for my head. You made me think trish.e. Too many alpha and beta waves. (wink) shame on you. (joking) cheers! :) Peter 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
